I’ve spent my entire professional life in the pursuit of art, sometimes on the creative frontlines, though just as often as an administrator. I’m also a die-hard “techie” whose love affair with computing dates back to my first experiences with BASIC programming on a second-hand computer purchased at a neighborhood yard sale. I’m extraordinarily excited to be developing mobile apps, and I see this as just the next step in my path as an artist and arts advocate: the possibilities of apps as a means for telling stories and sharing information are expanding daily. My mission as a developer is to create apps that engage users creatively and intuitively, and that can help my clients achieve their real-world goals.
Developing mobile apps is (at least for now) a side venture for me. I also work full-time with ArtBinder, a tech startup that is the leading digital platform for art galleries, collectors and artists. ArtBinder is just the latest stop in a career spent working for artists and arts organizations – most notably Pace Gallery and Theatre Communications Group, the national organization for the American theatre. I’m a proud Philadelphia native, but I currently live in the Auburndale neighborhood of Queens, NYC.
Thank you for visiting the site. Please consider downloading one of my apps, and let me know what you think. And if you are a potential client who would like to collaborate on a project, please get in touch.
Thanks,
Jason Schroeder
